Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
Last updated: October 2026
Who We Are
This website is run by Upcyx, 2360 Portland St SE, Calgary, AB T2G 4M6, Canada. If you have a question about your personal information, email hello@upcyx.com or call 403-835-3315.
What We Collect
Messages. When you use a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number or company if you give them, the topic you pick, your message, and the page you sent it from.
Marketing consent. If you tick the consent box on a form, we record that you agreed, the wording you agreed to, and the date and time. The box is never ticked for you.
Site use. Like every website, our server logs basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use them to keep the site running and secure.
How We Use It
- To answer your questions, quotes, sample requests, and partnership enquiries.
- To keep a record of our conversation in our website and our customer records, so whoever follows up has the full picture.
- To send you news and offers about Upcyx and our brands, only if you ticked the consent box. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To protect the site and its forms from spam and abuse.
What We Never Do
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
Cookies and Outside Services
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you log in to manage the site, WordPress sets the cookies it needs for that. Our hosting provider may set a cookie that counts visits.
The site loads fonts from Google, and our forms may use a security check from Cloudflare to stop spam. Loading these can share your IP address and browser details with Google or Cloudflare.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
How Long We Keep It
Messages are kept for as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of our business dealings. Marketing consent is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Our Other Sites
Hemp Heritage™ (hempheritage.com) and Sazzy Cards (sazzycards.com) are Upcyx brands with their own online stores. Orders placed there are covered by the privacy policy on each of those sites.
Your Choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email hello@upcyx.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
